Changes to CABC Insurance Program

August 7, 2014

kneeling-prayerFor several years the CABC has worked with Palmer Atlantic Insurance to help provide excellent coverage for our churches’ property and liability insurance needs at the best rates possible. Currently around 400 of our churches have taken advantage of this great service.

Until recently, Palmer Atlantic has offered policies through Royal Sun Alliance. As a result of increasing premiums, we decided to shop around. We have found better rates and better coverage through Ecclesiastical Insurance. CABC churches will be receiving a letter from the CABC office and a follow up contact from Palmer Atlantic about this change and the process for churches should they choose to go with Ecclesiastical Insurance.

Here are some of the benefits:

  • Stained Glass & Religious Artifacts included under property coverage
  • Commercial General Liability extends Worldwide
  • No Commercial General Liability deductible
  • E&O & Non Owned Auto included with General Liability at No extra premium
  • No Abuse deductible
  • No rate increase on Rented Dwellings (Parsonages)
  • No Bat Exclusion
  • No Activities Exclude (may offer risk control recommendations for high exposure activities)
  • Hotline for free & unlimited Lawyer Advice from experienced lawyers
  • Hotline for free & unlimited access to counsellors for organization leaders to seek workplace advice
  • Faith protect plus extension package
  • Appraisals
  • 0% Financing to be agreed upon binding
