Minto Baptist Church Celebrates Prayer Conference

Minto Baptist Prayer Conference

Pastor Phil and Melanie Styles

Minto Baptist Church recently held a prayer conference through which they saw God move in powerful ways. During the week of Sept 16-20, church leadership cancelled all board and committee meetings so that people could be free to attend, even though this meant that they would need to delay the start of some ministries until October.

Using Romans 5:5b as their theme verse, “God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us,” their goal was to be filled with God’s fresh life and power.

Attendance for the meetings increased through the week and they witnessed many blessings. People prayed for the first time. There was deep repentance and reconciliation. Three people were miraculously healed from arthritis, a damaged spine, and intense pain.

Pastor Phil Styles reports that “many strong testimonies have come out of this past month. God has been true to his word and His people! We continue to gather in prayer and serve one another through the initiatives of God and His divine love. We have hard work to do, but we will strive to win the prize and complete the race to which Christ Jesus has called us!”
