New CBAC Website Launched!

October 4, 2024

The Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada are pleased to announce the launch of a new website!

Fresh Air

As part of our Strategic Vision for hope-filled organizational renewal, Phase 1 of this website has been developed with a new visual theme called “Fresh Air”. As refreshing as it can be to open a window or get outdoors, this visual theme is a reminder that true renewal comes from the fresh wind of the Spirit, the Breath of God in us. Let hope arise!

What’s new in Phase 1?

Beyond the visual update of the Fresh Air theme, the website features an improved organizational structure, speed and search enhancements, greater flexibility for page design to be customized for ministry needs, and a more efficient system to make it easy to maintain and stay up-to-date.

With numerous updates, we hope this new website will make it easier for pastors, leaders, and churches across Atlantic Canada to find the information and support needed for joining God in our neighbourhoods.

More to come!

Our new website has a powerful infrastructure for even more apps and features still to come in Phase 2. Some things to look forward to:

  • Department pages and resources developed more fully
  • More photography featuring CBAC churches and people from across Atlantic Canada
  • An enhanced visual menu system for easier navigation
  • Deeper integration for all of our data systems to keep accurate information available and simplify user systems
  • A growing resource list
  • New apps for powerful new functions

Help us “move in”!

Right now it’s like when you first get the keys to a new house… it needs to be swept, some furniture is still being moved in, some rooms need to be painted… we’ll be shifting “furniture”, adding “decorations”, and setting up new “appliances” for a while to come. If you notice any layout issues, broken links,  something missing, or want to make a comment, please contact [email protected] to let us know.

As we make the transition to this new website at atlanticbaptist.ca, the old baptist-atlantic.ca website will remain online in archive mode, without further updates. This will help ensure that older links remain active so that information is available. Staff email addresses will also remain the same.

Join the housewarming party and take some time to do the tour of atlanticbaptist.ca!
