Tidal Impact 2025 Prayer Preparation

The Tidal Impact Leadership Team is well underway in preparations for Tidal Impact 2025 this July in Prince Edward Island! Registration is open and churches and teams are already signing up to come and host! Go to tidalimpact.ca for more information.

I have the privilege of being the Tidal Impact Prayer Coordinator this summer. Please join me in praying for the leadership team, the pastors and volunteers, the churches and communities, and the youth coming to serve and minister to what I call my home on the island. I thought this month we could pray through a prayer from Paul in the book of Ephesians.

Ephesians 3:16-21 NIV

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.”

  • Let’s pray all would receive the gifts, energy, and skills needed from God’s ‘glorious riches’
  • Now pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen each youth inside and out to be physically and spiritually fit for this mission trip- ask Him to walk with them right now and His encouragement & voice in their life.
  • Now pray for those who haven’t accepted Christ into their hearts to do so this summer, and for the rest to grow closer and deeper in love with Jesus.

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God”

  • Let’s pray for God to help the Tidal Impact Teams serve from a place rooted in God’s love.
  • Let’s pray for Unity, that His love would fuel everyone to care for one another when we are tempted to be frustrated or hurtful towards one another.
  • Now pray for God to open their minds to fully understand how beyond comprehension His amazing love for each one of us and our communities is.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!

  • Let’s pray for God to go crazy and do more than we can even imagine! Let’s dream big and ask him to blow our expectations out of the water!
  • Now let’s invite God to place a calling on the youth of our teams from the various churches we will be partnering with, that through this experience they would respond to a call into professional ministry and ministries of all kinds!
  • Let’s take some time and surrender everything to Him, trusting HIs power, to the one who holds everything from generation to generation. What do we need to surrender to Him right now?

“Amen.”
