CABC Council is excited to announce that Rev. Kevin Vincent will be transitioning from part-time to full-time with the CABC effective March 7, 2016. Kevin joined the CABC team in a part-time capacity in May 2015 while maintaining a part time Lead Pastor role at Atlantic Community Church.
Council President Mr. Al McIsaac: “Council has been very pleased with how much Kevin has accomplished since he joined the staff in May. We are very excited as he comes on full-time leading in the area New Congregations.”
From the beginning it was the desire of Council to have Kevin full time in this role but he sensed God was calling him to continue to lead at ACC. “When I first agreed to this split arrangement, Brandon Thompson warned me that the job was probably way too big for that. I had to admit that he was right,” says Kevin.
“We have a terrific team in place and the future is bright I know for the congregations in both Apohaqui and Hampton” says Kevin. “Early on in my time in this role I realized how HUGE the task is working with and developing new congregations. I have really enjoyed the opportunity and privilege of getting to work closely with some of our pastors and churches. I look forward to more of this.”
Kevin will conclude ministry with ACC the end of February after a 20 year run and continue the challenge of helping reshape the Atlantic region with churches that are committed to making a difference and proclaiming Christ in their neighbourhoods.
Dr. Peter Reid comments, “I am thrilled that Kevin will be able to give his full attention and energy to this vitally important ministry position in the CABC.”
Please pray for Kevin, Sandra and the church as they make this transition.
