Christmas Eve marked an exciting event in the life of the Jemseg Baptist family. At the annual Christmas Eve service with special music, lighting of the Advent wreathe and a special skit, we were blessed to have a baby dedication. Gary and Andrea Vail were blessed with the birth of their second daughter in November 2009. On Christmas Eve with the community and family present, Gary and Andrea along with their older daughter Emma, presented Elizabeth to God.
Pastor Dan was delighted to be part of this service. He values the importance and value of family. For him, this was a perfect way to end the old year and prepare for the new one to come. His view is that babies, children and youth show life in a church. The importance of family is always important, but at Christmas, for some, it’s the only time everyone can be together. Elizabeth’s older sister, Emma was part of the dedication by reading Scripture. Encourage one another as you pray for and support families through ministry.
