Announcing the new Associate Director of CBAC Youth & Family

October 21, 2025

Hannah MariottCBAC welcomes Hannah Marriott as Associate Director of Youth and Family Ministries.

The Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) is delighted to announce that Hannah Marriott will be joining the CBAC Team as Associate Director of Youth and Family Ministries, beginning November 17, 2025.

In this new role, Hannah will work alongside Rev. Dan Pyke, CBAC Director of Youth & Family, to resource, equip, and encourage leaders who serve children, youth, young adults, and families across Atlantic Canada. Her work will help advance CBAC’s Overflowing with Hope vision—investing in the next generation and nurturing hope-filled environments, events and leaders for our churches and communities. As Rev. Dan Pyke, CBAC Director of Youth & Family says, “I’m thrilled to welcome Hannah to the CBAC Team. She brings a wealth of experience to the Youth & Family department, and I’m excited to work with her in this next season. Her relational approach and heart for leaders will be an incredible support to our next generation ministries across Atlantic Canada.”

Hannah has served for the past 7.5 years at Immanuel Baptist Church in Truro, NS, most recently as Associate Pastor of Missions & Next Gen Ministries. She brings more than a decade of experience in ministry leadership, along with strong administrative and communications skills. Hannah has already been a close collaborator with the CBAC, contributing to the planning and leadership of events such as NEXT, Justice Summit, and Tidal Impact, and serving on various CBAC working groups and teams, including the Youth & Family Working Group and the Strategic Vision Team.

Rev. Renée MacVicar, CBAC Executive Minister, shares, “I’m so excited to welcome Hannah to our CBAC team. She brings a deep love for equipping next-generation leaders, a heart for the local church, and exceptional administrative and organizational gifts. Hannah has been a long-time friend of the CBAC and has helped shape and host some of our most meaningful youth and justice gatherings over the years. She embodies the kind of hope-filled leadership we long to see overflowing in our churches. I’m confident she’ll be an amazing addition as we continue to live out our vision of being Overflowing with Hope.”

Hannah Marriott has seen God’s leading in this. Hannah shares, “I’m so grateful for the ways God has been preparing and guiding me into this new season of ministry. I’m excited to listen, learn, and connect with our CBAC leaders who serve kids, youth, and families, and eager to join together in the beautiful work God is doing across Atlantic Canada.”

Hannah will officially begin her role with the CBAC on November 17, 2025. Please join us in welcoming her to the team and praying for her as she steps into this new season of ministry.
