Alden Crain Appointed CBM Atlantic Representative

cbm-alden-crainCanadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) is pleased to announce that Rev. Alden Crain has been appointed to the role of Atlantic Canada Representative, starting July 29, 2013.

Alden and his wife Tracey previously served as Global Field Staff with CBM from 2000 – 2006 in Kenya, focusing on Leadership Development. Since their return to Canada, Alden has served as Pastor of Midland Baptist Church in New Brunswick.

CBM’s Atlantic Canada Representative serves as the key connecting point between CBM and the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches and all of its churches. Alden’s primary responsibilities will include strengthening mission engagement and facilitating dialogue on integral mission and its practice through the church locally and globally.

In regards to Alden’s new position with CBM, General Secretary Sam Chaise commented that “…we are thrilled to have someone of Alden’s calibre in this important position. I know his passion is walking alongside individuals and churches as they go deeper in their global discipleship journeys. He will contribute so much to Canadian Baptist life in Atlantic Canada through his new role.”
