Speaking Engagement Request

Upon request for a CBAC speaker, we will review the following:
• If the preferred speaker is available (if not, we will offer an alternative)
• The best fit for the occasion
• The reason for the request. (CBAC usually does not provide “Pulpit Supply” as our desire is to partner with churches and their leaders. If you would like the pulpit supply list, visit this page or contact Rev. Greg Jones.)

After receiving your request, a CBAC team member will contact you to recommend an option based on the date and speaker availability.

1. Time within the service/event to speak about the mission and work of CBAC. If the speaking request is a sermon, this will be included in the sermon.
2. A CBAC staff may request a table where they will have CBAC resources and info available (for example, at the back of the church).
3. Time for the CBAC speaker to meet with your leaders either before or after the speaking engagement.

We’re happy to be invited to speak at your church and consider it a privilege to do so. Any honorarium you are able to provide for the speaker will help us continue our joint work in the CBAC family and allow us to connect with more churches. While an honorarium is never required, it is always helpful and appreciated. We will always come if we're able. If you wish to provide an honorarium towards the cost of travel, please make the cheque payable to the CBAC. You may also send an e-transfer to [email protected].
