The Presidential Search Committee (PSC) for Crandall University has formally engaged the services of Nelson/Kraft and Associates, a Canadian Executive Search Firm specializing in mission-fit candidate searches. Nelson/Kraft and Associates worked with the PSC to create a job posting (i.e., Opportunity Profile) that prioritizes seven defining realities identified in a succession workshop. This profile was then presented to the Crandall University Board for their approval. The Opportunity Profile can be found here: Crandall OP – President and Vice Chancellor. The PSC will accept applications until September 8, 2026 and then begin interviewing qualified candidates in October.
David Morehouse, the Presidential Search Committee Chair, asks that you please join them in the following:
- Pray for discernment for those considering the call to be the next President and Vice Chancellor of Crandall University.
- Invite qualified candidates to apply. If, after reading the Opportunity Profile, an individual comes to mind, please encourage them to pray about whether God may be calling them to such a time as this.
Again, we thank you for your interest in this search. As always, your input is important, therefore, if you have any questions and/or suggestions, please reach out to your representative (Renée MacVicar) on this Presidential Search Committee. Thank you!
The President and Vice Chancellor is the chief executive officer of Crandall, appointed by and accountable to the Board of Governors. The President and Vice Chancellor provides visionary, spiritual, academic, and operational leadership to the University, stewards its Christian mission and identity, advances strategic and financial sustainability, strengthens trust and institutional alignment, and serves as Crandall’s primary ambassador with donors, churches, alumni, the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC), government, and community partners.
This posting can be found on the Ministry Opportunities page.
