Monday Monday

happy-monday-coffeeMonday Monday . . .

I don’t know how many of you are familiar with this iconic Momas and Papas song, but it starts with such promise and hope with the opening verse:
“Monday Monday, so good to me.
Monday Morning, it was all I hoped it would be.”

Now before we get too far ahead of ourselves with optimism & hope, the song writer then penned these sobering words, reminding all that not every Monday delivers on the hope of a new week:
“Monday Morning couldn’t guarantee…
and then Monday Monday, can’t trust that day…”

So how is your Monday? Is it a day that is fulfilling its promise of hope or has it turned into a draining day that is making you long for a “Re-Do” button?

As I stare down this week I wanted to make you aware of a few events/dates coming up:

So our Monday is turning out to be one of promise and I hope you are able to join us at one of the above events or pray for those involved.

My prayer for you today is that this day is a day of promise and hope in the Lord.

Blessings,

Garth
