Active in Mission 2026

Help Feed Hope โ€“ get Active in Mission!

Hunger is closer than we think.

Across Canada, 1 in 4 households are experiencing food insecurity. Around the world, conflict, rising costs, and extreme weather are making it harder for families to access the food they need.

This is your moment to move.

Active in Mission 2026 invites you and your church to turn movement into impact – supporting food programming in 17 countries and here in Canada.

Organized by the family of Canadian Baptists โ€“ Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, lโ€™Union des ร‰glises Baptistes Francophone du Canada, Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec, Canadian Baptists of Western Canada, and CBM โ€“ we are working together to help provide food to people who need it.

How to get Active in Mission

1

Choose your Challenge!

Walk, run, cycle, swim โ€“ whatever gets you moving!

You can get Active in Mission as an individual or as a group. In past years, weโ€™ve seen โ€œBiker Bettyโ€ log some serious distances, youth groups have held tournaments, families have walked together, and staff teams have challenged each other to sports.

Weโ€™re dedicating the entire summer to this. Choose a time from July to August that works best for you. Make a plan that gets your heart pumping!

2

Register on the Active in Mission website to make fundraising easy

Start or join a team

Registering on the Active in Mission website will create an individual or team profile that you can share with your supporters to easily collect donations and track your progress.

This website will give your supporters confidence about the fundraising efforts, handle all the details like charitable receipts, and help you stay active towards your goal!

3

Get active!

Track it. Share it. Inspire others.

Get the word out, get active, and update supporters about your journey by posting it on social media using #AIM2026.

Whether you walk, run, bike, kayak, cartwheel, hop, skip, or whatever, your activity makes a difference.

With over 900 churches and 72,000 members, imagine the impact we can make collectively by taking steps in really practical ways to bring hope to those who need it most!ย
