Allison Church Changes Name

The Journey Church

The signs are up and The Journey Church is ready for an exciting fall full of ministry opportunities. Formerly known as Allison Baptist, the church has experienced many changes in the past three years. The church has been operating as a multi-site ministry since the fall of 2008 with campuses at 1539 Salisbury Road and 155 Dickson Blvd (the former Brentwood Baptist Church). In that same time period, the church also began a process to examine a possible change of identity to better reflect this new ministry model. After approximately a year of working through all the details associated with this name change, we are now pleased to be operating under the banner of “The Journey Church.”
