Rev. Perley Tidd’s 60 Year Celebration

Perley and MarleneOn October 30, 2015, the members and adherents of the Port Mouton United Baptist Church hosted a celebration in recognition of Rev. Perley N. Tidd’s 60 years in the Ministry. This celebration was attended by over 80 friends and family members.

Perley singingStories were shared and special music provided by friends from many of the churches where he pastored during the past 60 years. Perley grew up on Grand Manan, N.B. and gave his heart to the Lord during a church service in Beaver Harbour, N.B. when he was 17 years old. After attending London Bible College he moved to move to New Canada, N.S. to pastor six churches on October 31, 1955. Perley later attended Acadia Divinity College where he received his B.A. and B.Th. He was ordained in 1967. Rev. Perley Tidd is presently the pastor of the Port Mouton United Baptist Church in Port Mouton, N.S.
