June 25 Statement on Further Discoveries at Residential Schools

June 25, 2021

Today we grieve deeply with our Indigenous communities over the new discoveries of hundreds more unmarked graves of children at several residential schools across Canada and the USA. This news should horrify us, and we know that this grieves the heart of God our Creator. Once again, we call on our Atlantic Baptist family to pray, lament, and stand in solidarity with our Indigenous neighbours.
