Fall Training Tour 2013

September 18, 2013

m-wilkinson-cboqIt has been said that members of the current generation are “digital natives”: not knowing a world without the internet, cell phones, text messaging and social media. This reality does present some challenges, but it also offers many opportunities with respect to ministry and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

This year’s Fall Training Tour is an opportunity for ministry staff, volunteers, parents and anyone passionate about reaching the next generation for Christ to gather for encouragement, equipping and practical training on this topic.

Matt Wilkinson, director of Youth Ministries for the Baptist Churches of Ontario and Quebec, will be speaking on the topic, “Engaging the Wireless and Connected Generation.” If you work with youth or young adults you will want to take this in.

The Fall Training Tour will take place in both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

  • Halifax – Monday, September 23rd, at Birch Cove Baptist Church (50 Donaldson Ave) at 7:00pm.
  • Moncton – Tuesday, September 24th, at Crandall University (333 Gorge Road) at 7:00pm.

Don’t miss this opportunity to better understand this generation and be better equipped to minister to them.
