Job Posting: Associate Director of Youth & Family Ministries (¾ Time – 30 hrs/week)

The Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and strategic ministry leader who loves Jesus, loves the Church, and desires to see youth, children, young adults, and families flourish in their discipleship and mission. This ¾-time role (30 hours/week) will focus on providing leadership, resourcing, and relational support to churches and leaders across Atlantic Canada.

Overview:
The Associate Director of Youth & Family Ministries contributes to the implementation of the CBAC’s Youth & Family vision and priorities, partnering closely with the Director of Youth & Family Ministries. This role plays a key part in advancing our 2024–2028 Strategic Vision: Overflowing with Hope, by equipping and encouraging leaders to join God in their neighbourhoods, foster a culture of discipleship, and invest in the next generation with courage and creativity. The Associate Director will serve as both a strategic collaborator and practical leader—coordinating key events, connecting with ministry leaders, and helping to develop innovative resourcing strategies for youth, young adult, and children’s ministry in our region.

About the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC)
The CBAC is a family of approximately 420 Canadian Baptist Churches across the four Atlantic Provinces – New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador. We work alongside a network of agencies and organizations that support our churches and extend our collective impact. Our shared purpose is being and making disciples of Jesus Christ who are integrated into the life and ministry of healthy, growing churches, committed to fulfilling the Great Commission.

Our Overflowing with Hope strategic vision (2024–2028) calls us to prayerfully invest in

  • calling and equipping leaders,
  • creating connections for coaching and care,
  • stirring conversation for our future,
  • cultivating renewal,
  • and rising up Jesus followers and Kingdom leaders in the next generation—trusting that God’s Spirit is already at work in our region.
