Discerning Your Calling
Is God calling YOU to vocational ministry?
CBAC Leadership Development can help answer questions and connect you with resources in your discernment process.
Wayfinding
The Wayfinding Project is a holistic approach to helping youth (Grade 11 & 12) and young adults (up to age 23) discern the next steps God has for them in their journey with Him. The Wayfinding Project includes two in-person retreats, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. In between the retreats, you will engage with other Wayfinding students in 8 online modules, helping you discern and listen. Lastly, all along the way you will have a mentor who will both support and guide you along your journey.

Getting Equipped
Develop yourself through training at our CBAC schools.
Acadia Divinity College
ADC MDiv graduates are prepared for leadership in a wide range of ministries, including service in local churches, chaplaincy settings, and mission fields – both local and global. Graduates also provide leadership to denominations and parachurch ministries. Some graduates decide to continue their studies at the doctorate level and teach in colleges and seminaries worldwide.
Credentials
Obtain and maintain your credentials in good standing based on established Ministry Regulations.
Explore
Explore is an annual event for individuals looking to enter our process towards ordination. This event will help you discover who the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) are and discover who you are and your call through the use of an Emotional Intelligence Profile, Personality Profile, Spiritual Gift Inventory and conversations. For those who are planning on coming before the Board of Ministerial Standards and Education, this is a requirement for acceptance as a Candidate and will be a prerequisite to appearing before the Board for their initial interview.
