Springforth Run

October 11, 2013

Springforth-Run-2013A team of youth, young adults and leaders from Springforth (our annual youth event in Moncton), in partnership with Canadian Baptist Ministries, will have the opportunity to travel to Kenya in March 2014 to study the issue of food security.

In order to help raise funds for this incredible learning opportunity, a 5k Springforth Fundraising Run has been organized for Saturday, November 2, 2013. Anyone can participate by registering to run or walk (or a combination). If you are not able to attend, you can still participate by giving a donation in the name of someone that is running.

Runners and walkers will meet at Immanuel Baptist Church, Truro, NS on November 2nd to participate in a 5km run / walk beginning at 11:00am (registration will take place between 10-10:30am). Early registration fee is $10 (until October 19th). After Oct. 19th the fee is $20.

Staff members from the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches are planning to attend and participate in the run. Runners and walkers are encouraged to also raise funds for this event which will be equally divided among the team members. Pledge sheets, registration and more info can be found here: https://atlanticbaptist.ca/springforth-run.
