We are deeply grateful for Kevin Vincent’s energetic and creative leadership over the past decade as Director of New Congregations and, more recently, Director of Future Church. Since joining CBAC in March 2015, Kevin has played a significant role in helping our churches discern what faithfulness can look like in changing times. He has walked alongside leaders as they try new experiments, supported church plants and adoptions, encouraged partnerships between congregations, and helped create space for collaboration and imagination across our family of churches.
Kevin and a group of pastors he worked with launched ChurchLink this past summer, a practical resource that helps churches explore partnerships, adoptions, mergers, and other future-focused possibilities. Through this and so much more, Kevin has helped churches move forward with courage, care, and hope.
Looking ahead, in late spring 2026, Kevin will be shifting to a 50% role with CBAC, focusing on Donor Development and serving as Director of the Atlantic Baptist Mission Board (ABMB). In this role, Kevin will help strengthen a culture of generosity across CBAC, oversee ministry initiative grants, and walk alongside churches during seasons of transition, including when churches are preparing to close.
This transition also means we will be beginning a search for a new Director of Future Church. If you are interested in learning more about this role or know someone who may be a good fit, we invite you to review the job posting for further details.
We give thanks for Kevin, for his faithfulness, his cheerleading spirit, and his steady encouragement, and we look ahead with hope to this next season of ministry.
