Homeworks Parenting Conference

September 25, 2013

homeworks-parenting-conference-300pxBrunswick Street, Douglas, Grace Memorial, Marysville Baptist Churches and Green Hill Lake Camp are co-hosting a simultaneous parenting and children’s conference on Friday, October 18 (6:45 to 8:30 pm) and Saturday October 19 (8:30 to Noon). We are excited to join together to offer this “Faith @ Home” focused conference. Parents play a vital role in the lives of their children and these organizations have a passionate desire to offer something that will encourage, renew, strengthen and empower the ministry that parents have with their children.

Rob & Jill Nylen from Rivercross Church in Saint John will be the speakers for the parenting portion of the event while Joanna Doak of Chameleon Jo Productions will be hosting a conference for our elementary children (including Grade 6). For those of you who don’t know Rob and Jill, you will not be disappointed as these informed and passionate speakers share not just information, but vision, laughter and joy with you. Joanna Doak is sure to provide a great mix of fun and faith for our kids. The preschoolers will be lovingly cared in a separate area from the elementary aged children.

We will begin the conference at 7 pm (finishing for the evening at 8:30) on Friday, October 18 and will meet again on Saturday morning from 845 am to Noon.

Registration is now open for this event (if you register before October 1 the cost is $25 for the ENTIRE family and $35 after October 1). Registration can take place online (http://goo.gl/tKK2oC) or by contacting Nancy Murphy () for a registration form (fee due upon completion of the form).

If you have any questions please call or e-mail any of the co-hosting churches. Also, please share this with your friends and family, we would love to have a great crowd. View postcard here.
