Creating a Culture of Invitation

PrintWe will be hosting a seminar on how to develop a culture of invitation in your church. From November 17-20, Michael Harvey will be presenting how your church can develop a culture of inviting people to church. Find a location near you and plan to attend. All morning seminars will be held from 9:15 – 11:15 a.m. and afternoon seminars will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

This two hour seminar, sponsored by “The Centre for Congregational Renewal” of the CABC, is for pastors and church leaders. The presenter, Michael Harvey, gave up his high level executive job in the City of London to teach church leaders to see new possibilities, using an approach that has quickly become established as Back to Church Sunday which now takes place in 17 countries resulting in 1 million+ accepted invitations. He is the author of the book Unlocking the Growth. Michael will explore how to develop a “culture of invitation.”

Types of take-aways from this two hour seminar include:

  • Learning how to produce a unique mission field for your church at any given time
  • Being provided with tools to identify distorted thinking in your church
  • Discovering the creative power of fear
  • Finding and naming the weapons hidden in the soul hindering mission and discipleship
  • Receiving a number of emotional, mental and physical strategies to contend in the battleground area
  • Considering your church plan of action
  • Exploring new metrics in order to measure new key indicators on becoming a culture of invitation
