FreshEncounter Retreat

For Ministry Spouses of Active CBAC Pastoral Leaders

The FreshEncounter Retreat is a spiritual retreat for ministry leaders’ spouses. The FreshEncounter Retreat offers space to connect deeply with God in community and in solitude. It’s a spiritual retreat in which we step away from the pace of our everyday lives to intentionally slow down and focus on being with God, ourselves and others. This retreat is facilitated by Kelly Carline, spiritual director.

Details:

• April 17-19, 2026 – Friday 5:00pm to Sunday 11:30am (3 days/2 nights)
• Bayside Camp – 1503 Ketch Harbour Rd, Sambro Head NS (30 mins from Halifax)
• Lodging – Single room, shared bathroom. It is a modern camp style with one bunk bed per room with a small table, chair and lamp. Bring own bedding, towels, etc.
• Cost
  • No Sozo Membership: Early bird, by April 3: $200; after April 3: $225
  • Paid for a retreat as part of Sozo Membership: $0
  • Upgrading Sozo Membership to include a retreat: $150
