Executive Minister
The Executive Minister oversees our shared Baptist mission and ministry in Atlantic Canada. The Executive Minister (EM) functions as the visionary leader, spiritual leader and chief executive officer of the CBAC. The EM oversees the CBAC Team in fulfilling our joint vision and reports to the CBAC Council. The Assembly elects the Executive Minister to a renewable five-year term.
Executive Minister: Renรฉe MacVicar
Renรฉe MacVicar ran into Godโs grace as a young adult and continues to be changed by that grace every day. Renรฉe has a passion to see everyone join God in their neighbourhoods. She truly believes God is transforming our world one person and one neighbourhood at a time. Renรฉe currently serves as the Executive Minister for the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, a family of over 400 churches seeking to overflow with the hope of Jesus across Atlantic Canada. Renรฉe has previously served in churches in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Scotland. She has a degree in Kinesiology from the West Coast (Simon Fraser University) and theological degrees from the East Coast (Acadia Divinity College). Renรฉe enjoys hiking, running and board games. Renรฉe lives with her family โ Joe, Emma, and Isabell โ in Salisbury, NB.
